Dr. Ahonkhai completed the Inter-CFAR Implementation Science Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University and is currently a fellow at IRI. Dr. Ahonkhai is also a faculty director of the Vanderbilt-Meharry Community Engaged Research Core, and an affiliated faculty member at Vanderbilt’s CCQIR. Dr. Ahonkhai has significant experience leading epidemiologic studies and has been working with Dr. Pettit to establish and strengthen collaborations with colleagues in Memphis/Shelby County, Tennessee. She will assist the mPIs in the hub’s coaching sessions, with a specific focus on content expertise in health equity and community engagement. She will also assist Dr. Pettit in oversight of the multi-site implementation science project.
