CFAR-Wide Seminar Series hosted by Tennessee CFAR
The Tennessee Center for AIDS Research Seminar Series is delighted to host Dr. Carolyn Wester, Director of the Division of Viral Hepatitis in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday, December 11th at 3pm. Dr. Wester is an internationally recognized leader in the field of viral hepatitis, an adjunct faculty member in the VUMC Division of Infectious Diseases, and a former Medical Director of the HIV/AIDS/STD section at the Tennessee Department of Health. Her talk is entitled “Viral Hepatitis Elimination in the United States: Progress, Priorities, and Opportunities.” This will be an IN-PERSON presentation in the MCN A2200 ID Division conference room and streamed in virtual format.
Dr. Wester brings a wealth of career experience in academia and government, and we are excited to provide an opportunity for early-career investigators to meet (in person) with Dr. Wester from 3-4 pm after the seminar.
