About the TN CFAR Data Sciences Clinic
The Tennessee Center for AIDS Research (TN-CFAR) is sponsoring weekly, walk-in data sciences clinics rotating between Vanderbilt, Meharry, and the Tennessee Department of Health. At these clinics, researchers can discuss any statistical questions with TN-CFAR statisticians. This would be a good time to discuss analysis plans, sample size calculations, study designs for grant proposals (e.g., Development Core award applications), statistical methods used in a paper, strategies for responding to statistical reviewers, etc., and to start some basic analyses. Statistical support for some projects beyond the clinic may also be available.
These clinics are walk-in, so you are welcome to just show up. However, if you send us an email prior to the clinic we’ll make sure to reserve a spot for discussing your project.
Clinics are held from 12:00 – 1:15 PM at the following times and locations:
Vanderbilt
- 1st Tuesday of Each Month
Located at Suite 11105, 2525 West End Building - 3rd Friday of Each Month
Located at Medical Center North D-2221
Meharry Medical College
- 2nd Thursday of Each Month
Located at the Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance Building, 1999 Meharry Drive
Tennessee Department of Health
- 4th Friday of each month
Located on the 4th Floor, Andrew Johnson Tower, 710 James Robertson Parkway
